He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institution - UK; has PhD and MPhil in strategic planning from Oxford Brookes University and over twenty years’ experience in mega projects management, strategic planning and urban design with advanced education and international training. He has been actively involved with national, regional and international development corporations; UN agencies, and medium and large private and public sector development projects. Currently he is the principal advisor for the UN-Habitat Egypt Programme providing steering projects at national, regional and local level, where provides opportunity to explore techniques that apply global SDGs 2030 and the Global New Urban Agenda with local spirit successfully via clear understanding challenges and support to comprehensively make the system work.
