Abdel Nasser Taha is Chairman and CEO of Misr Real Estate Assets the largest Real Estate Asset Management Company with a mixed portfolio of assets including land, commercial and over 400 residential buildings. Under his direction, MISREA has become an industry leading Asset Management firm that specializes in converting underutilized real estate into vibrant, innovative, progressive spaces.
Taha brings over three decades of experience in various aspects of real estate development and management with a wide range of projects in the Middle East to his name. Prior to his current position Taha established, as Managing Director, China Fortune Company in Egypt the world's leading end-to-end master planner, creator and operator of full-scale New Industry Cities. Before that, as Emaars Senior Development Director, Taha oversaw the development of MIVIDA in Egypt. Other positions included Development Director for His Highness the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Governor of Dubai & Gulf Finance House, Senior Development Manager for Emaar Dubai and Morocco. During that time he oversaw the development of a number of projects most notably the 168km2 King Abdallah Economic City in KSA and diverse projects in Morocco including the 13km waterfront and 540 Ha of Bahia Bay in Rabat., Sharjah Airport Hotel and Dubai Museum. As Chairman of New Concept Investment, a company founded by Taha in 2015, he has managed portfolios for Mega projects and prestigious clients including Wadi Degla, Wadi Elnil, Madinet Nasr, Arabia, Amlak, Tatweer Misr, Mostakbal City, UHHABITAT, Port Ghalib Kharafi group.
A well-known industry expert with diverse interests Taha is a well known spokesperson in various national and international conferences, a lecturer at the American University in Cairo and consults regularly on a large number of public and private projects most notably as advisor for Suez Canal Economic zone the New Administrative Capital and Cairo Governorate’s 2030, Strategic plan.
In addition to his extensive achievements in the Corporate world Taha has been a founder and in a number of international and national organizations and associations, including Founder and President of Fiabci Egypt, Egypt Real Estate Experts Foundation and Founding Board Member of the Arab African Organization for Real Estate and Commercial Investments and Development (AAORCID). In addition he is a member of the task force of City program of the United Nation for sustainable development of cities, member of The International Real Estate Federation FIABCI, and Investments Committee member of the Ministry of Housing a member of The Project Manager Network, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Professionals, Middle East NetWorks, Saudi Arabia Business and Professional Network, PMI, and finally the Egyptian and Bahraini syndicate of Engineers.
Taha holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cairo University as well as an MBA in Strategic Planning from IPE Management School in Paris.
